SMALLER PROJECTS
Single spaces that need attention, bathroom and kitchen remodels that demand expert planning. This type of work takes time and careful focus in order to turn out as you imagine. In addition, we consult hourly with a minimum of two hours.

LARGER PROJECTS
When one is building a home or embarking on a substantial remodel of an older home, a more comprehensive plan is required. We like to become involved along with your architect and/or landscape architect early in the process. If you are generating plans now it is not too early to share those with us. An interior designer looks at the space with a different eye and from the interior function out!

Re-furnishing a home is exciting and an investment. Most important is identification of your ultimate goals and budget. We can work with you in order to discuss quality issues, incorporating existing furniture pieces into the design and art and accessories.

SUBSTANTIAL RESIDENCES
Custom homes from 10,000 to 16,000 square feet are in our resume and we know such projects require slightly different handling. This is where our experience really counts; numerous disciplines must interact smoothly in order for all details to translate properly. A fabulous design team is the result of hundreds and hundreds of precise judgments. Estate homes feature multiple buildings, custom finish materials and special craftsmen. A flat fee may be negotiated for all or part of the work if you prefer.

FURNISHINGS
We weave our designs together from resources here in San Diego, in Laguna Nigel and in Los Angeles. We can visit other design marts in San Francisco and Dallas, but we believe that time is precious. Many of our upholstered goods are custom made in fine local workrooms. Our drapery, bedding and pillows are also locally fabricated. Antiques are purchased both locally and from other reputable resources. There are also special wholesale companies we know and trust; these goods are ordered from catalogs with confidence. Access to unique textiles is nearly limitless.

FEES
Design is not a predictable task; it is a process. It is possible to contain the amount of consultation that you want, but not possible to restrict the amount of time it takes to craft a wonderful interior design. An analogy could be hiring a chef to prepare a meal, but not paying him to stay around to take the main course out of the oven and plate the food. The choice is yours.
